About the Lab
We are a small, young and energized lab looking to do great science while having fun and being good citizens.
We are a diverse lab that integrates skills from many disciplines, including: epidemiology, veterinary medicine, computer science, molecular biology and statistics.
We cherish diversity -- of thoughts, backgrounds, experiences, skills and opinions. We encourage (even relish!) respectful debate, and we value each others' quirks.
We believe that livestock animals are an essential and valuable part of our local and global society, and we use scientific discovery to advance livestock production in a "win-win" manner -- to benefit animals, humans and the planet.
We conduct research to address critical challenges in public health, livestock production and veterinary medicine.
WE VALUE:
Honesty
Integrity
Curiosity
Respect
Diversity
Critique

IN THE LAB, WE:

We are looking for students who are hard working, enthusiastic, and willing to learn new things.
If this resonates with you and you are interested in joining our team, we would love to hear from you.
